PETERSBURG, Va. –Residents and businesses along South Crater Road, from Sycamore Street to the Prince George line, are encouraged to conserve water because of a water line break. The water line break has created low water pressure in the area. Local medical facilities will also experience low water pressure.
City officials said that the conservation of water will help maintain water levels.
Public work crew are actively assessing the situation and said they will alert customers by telephone, email, message board. Customers who need to report service outage or other related emergencies need to call (804) 733-2407.
