CLARKESVILLE, Ga. — This video was made by way of Clarkesville, Georgia, but many teachers, parents and students in Virignia can sing along and appreciate the sentiment.
Apparently school districts nationally have all jumped on the new trend of announcing school closures through fun videos, like yesterday’s video by Chesterfield County schools.
According to 11 Alive, the students and staff of The Little School in Ga., put together this music video called “All About that Ice” — a parody of Meghan Trainor’s hit song “All About that Bass.”
While Central Virginia was covered in up to 11 inches of powdery snow on Monday, our southern neighbors were hit by an ice storm. The freezing temperatures headed our way Thursday will also put them into a deep freeze — maintaining below freezing temperatures for them for almost two days in a row, a pretty rare event.
