CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. – An apparent transformer explosion has left more than 2,500 Dominion Virginia Power customers without power Monday night.
Officials say that they have multiple crews in that area. Some people who lost power say that it has now come back on. However, officials say that others may have to wait as late as 4 a.m. before services return.
UPDATE: According to Dominion Virginia Power's website, as of 2:15a.m. all but 16 customers in the Midlothian area have the power restored.
