PLANO, TX -- Meet the SuperKatz cheerleading Squad — athletic cheerleaders with special needs that can stunt, tumble, flip, and cartwheel with the best of them.
The Cheer Athletics squad is coached by Tommy Johnson, whose brother has special needs, Madison Swicegood, and Derrick Jackson.
The team is headed to Dallas to compete in the NCA All-Star Nationals February 27.
The highest they have placed is third, since the squad formed seven years ago. After watching them practice, KDAF thinks they have a good chance at moving up to first place!
