RICHMOND, Va. -- There were lots of costumes and fun at Saturday's sold out VA Comicon & Toy Show at the Richmond International Raceway.
It's the biggest one-day show for the event which featured collectible comic books, artists’ appearances, fans and "cosplayers.”
There was even a costume contest and also pop-culture lecture panels.
Families, college students and many more came out today for many reasons.
“I love seeing all the artwork and getting to buy some nice comic books I don't usually get to see in the stores by me,” said one attendee.
“I really love costumes and costuming so that's really why I’m here," another attendee explained.
And some said that they just love taking photos and just meeting their favorite characters.
