HENRICO, Va. — Police have released the name of a 21-year-old man found dead, lying in the road in Eastern Henrico Monday night.
Officers were responding to a call around 6 p.m. for three gunshots fired at the intersection of Hanover Road and Green Pasture Road, in Sandston, police said.
When officers arrived, they found Brandon Nathaniel Wright, of the 100 block of N. Rose Avenue in Highland Springs, with obvious signs of trauma who was deceased.
“The motive and cause of death is unknown, and detectives are continuing their investigation,” Henrico police said in a statement.
