Don’t miss the ‘Downton Abbey’ preview at the Altria Theater

RICHMOND, Va -- A special previewing of "Downton Abbey" Season 5 will be held across the pond, at the Altria Theater.

Katherine Godin, Director of Community Engagement for the Community Idea Stations, and Nancy Lowden, Manager of Historical Programs at Maymont, visited the studio to tell us about The Community Idea Stations 3rd annual viewing event and offer a sneak peek of the season premiere of PBS hit show.

These lovely ladies were decked out in clothing representing the time period, and attendees of Friday's event are encouraged to do the same.

This Emmy® and Golden Globe® award-winning hit drama returns for a fifth season of intimately interlaced stories centered on an English country estate — an entertaining formula that has made Downton Abbey the highest-rated drama in PBS history. The show debuts on Jan. 4 on PBS.

The event is Friday, January 2 at 8 p.m. at the newly-renovated Altria Theater. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
