HENRICO, Va. — If you’ve been to Short Pump Towne Center over the past few months you’ve noticed the onstruction underway.
New gathering spaces have been added, along with fountains, a new pedestrian bridge over the Main Plaza, additional covered bridges, updated restrooms, and a play village at the Food Court as well as an outdoor play area at the Main Plaza.
“With these superb renovations, as well as the many new retail and restaurant offerings, Short Pump Town Center is poised for an exciting new chapter of growth as one of the top destinations in the Richmond region,” said E. Kemel Blue, vice president/general manager.
In addition to the well-known anchor stores and popular shops, in 2014 more than 20 new retailers opened their doors. Those include Kate Spade New York, Michael Kors, Madewell, Free People, True Religion, VANS, Oakley, The Art of Shaving, TUMI, Sephora, Lush, Soft Surroundings and Versona Accessories.
Cooper’s Hawk Restaurant & Winery and Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery recently joined the lineup of restaurants.
Those headed over to do some holiday shopping will notice more than just the fresh shine of new construction.
There are plenty of holiday lights to twinkle, and decorations to adorn the new Main Plaza bridge.
Children can take a ride on the Short Pump Express and visit Santa for a keepsake photo in the Food Court through December 24.
