PETERSBURG, Va. — Petersburg police are investigating a homicide after a woman’s body was found in a car early Saturday morning.
Officers made the discovery when they were dispatched to the 1900 block of Wakefield Street at 12:08 a.m. after a call reported that shots were fired in the area.
Police found 43-year old Arnesse Peterson in her car suffering from a gunshot wound.
Peterson was pronounced dead at the scene.
There are no suspects yet.
