Hopewell Police ask for help to nab a burglary suspect

HOPEWELL, Va. — Hopewell Police are asking the public for tips to catch a suspect after someone burglarized a store.

Officers responded to the Roses Department store at 105 Cavalier Square for a burglary call around 8:30 Thursday night.

Investigators said a man broke into the business and stole multiple televisions and electronic devices worth about $3,500.

The suspect is described as a white male between the ages of 20 and 25.

He is about 5’6″ to 5’9″ tall, weighs around 170 lbs. with a short-styled haircut.

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt under a dark-colored jacket, camouflaged pants and dark-colored shoes.

Hopewell Police released an image of the suspect captured by the store’s surveillance cameras.
