NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — At least four people have been shot near a restaurant in Newport News.
The shooting occurred in the 6100 block of Jefferson Avenue, near the restaurant Deja Vu.
Lou Thurston with the Newport News Police Department told WAVY news that three victims were transported to a hospital, and a fourth victim was found at a nearby school.
Police told WTKR news that the fourth victim’s injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
One person has been detained and is being questioned at this time, reported WTKR.
