HENRICO COUNTY, Va. – A Henrico elementary school was briefly on lockdown Friday afternoon because of a domestic incident at a nearby home.
A district spokesperson told CBS 6 News that lockdown happened at Skipwith Elementary in the West End around 2:40 p.m.
That’s when police responded to a home near the school and the school was placed on lockdown so any children still at the school would not have to witness the argument.
The lockdown was lifted a short time later around 3 p.m.
