RICHMOND, Va. — Cher’s “Dressed to Kill” (D2K) tour has been posted again.
The tour came to a halt in September, when the megastar was ordered to bed after an acute viral infection.
“Cher was diagnosed over the weekend with what doctors termed an ‘acute viral infection’ and has been required to be on full bed rest for several days,” according to an announcement in September, on the ticket sales website.
The star is on the mend and making an excellent recovery, said marketing manager Samantha Sawyer, but was advised by doctors to continue recuperating at home.
The tour began in March, and included 49 shows. Another 30 shows across the United States are on the calendar over the next two months.
The next leg of her shows should really live up to the “Dressed to Kill” billing as she adds new costumes designed by Bob Mackie.
The Richmond date has not been rescheduled yet, and it “to be determined,” according to the tour website. Cher, who is joined by special guests Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, was slated to begin another block of D2K dates on Dec. 2, making rescheduling more difficult until after February 4.
We will keep you posted.
