JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A fun-filled Halloween night turned into a huge loss for a family on the Westside after their 10-year-old daughter’s wheelchair was stolen.

It took more than one-year for the wheelchair to be made, and it is customized to her specific disabilities. And it could take at least a year to get another one.

The community has joined in the search to help find it. The chair was taken from the front porch of the Rasch’s family home.

The mother, Beth Rasch,  said that they didn’t approve of a donation page that is going around.

“I really don’t want somebody to use her name to lead somebody to be taken advantage of,” Beth Rasch said to WJAX-TV news.
