Do you know this male in a white jacket who tried to rob Rite Aid?

Richmond Police detectives have asked for the public’s help to identify a suspect who attempted to rob the Rite Aid off of Hull Street.

At approximately 6:25 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 12, police said that an unknown male walked into the Rite Aid pharmacy located at 1801 Hull St. and attempted to rob the business.

The suspect is described as a white male, late 40’s, wearing a white jacket, blue jeans, black shoes and a black knit cap.

The suspect claimed to have a firearm and threatened employees but never displayed a weapon and left without stealing anything.

He fled on foot in the direction of Bainbridge Street. There were no injuries.

Detectives ask anyone with any information about this man’s identity to call Second Precinct Detective Derrick Longoria at (804) 646-8171 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
