HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — All lanes of I-95 north are back open after a wreck backed up traffic for miles for drivers headed out of the city Tuesday afternoon.
VDOT said that a vehicle accident has closed the left shoulder, left lane, center lane, and right shoulder of the interstate near Hermitage Road (mm 80).
As a result, traffic was backed up at least five miles as of 4:55 p.m.
However, officials said that all lanes had reopened by 5:45 p.m. But the five-mile backup remained and drivers were warned to expect delays.
