Three adults, two children displaced in Chesterfield fire

CHESTERFIELD, Va. — Three adults and two children have been displaced in a Chesterfield Fire that officials believe was started by discarded smoking material.

An emergency call came in around 5 p.m. and crews arrived on scene at the 6100 block of Riddle Road around 5:09 p.m., according to Chesterfield Fire Department. The fire was marked under control at 5:31 p.m.

One person was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
