GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. — More than 6,200 square feet, a lighted tennis court, a pool house and eight acres overlooking the Kanawha Club helped a Goochland County estate find a buyer at $1.9 million last month.
The property, at 745 River Road West, was the highest-priced home sold in the Richmond market in August, according to the Central Virginia Regional Multiple Listing Service (CVRMLS).
“It is truly like having your own club,” said Michelle Ferguson, an agent with Long & Foster who represented the sellers. “There’s a lot to do on this estate.”
Ferguson listed the property in May and had it under contract by July. It sold Aug. 15.
