RICHMOND, Va - Lisa Austin, Bon Secours Company Leader for the Richmond Heart Walk, and Carolyn Powell, Cardiac Arrest Survivor and Heart Walk Participant, joined us in the studio to talk about this years Richmond Heart Walk. This three or one mile walk is a non-competitive event in support of the American Heart Association's lifesaving research and programs aimed at reducing heart disease and stroke in our community. The event will take place on Saturday, October 11th at 12575 West Creek Parkway next to Richmond Striker's West Creek Fields. Activities begin at 9:30am and the Walk will start at 10am.
