PETERSBURG, Va. — The Family Dollar on Washington Street in Petersburg was robbed just after 9:45 a.m. Labor Day.
The suspect wielded a gun and took undisclosed cash and cigarettes.
Police are on scene and using canine to track the suspect, who they described as a light-skin black male. Police said the suspect is around six-foot tall, wearing dark clothing.
