ASHLAND, Va. — Hours after Ashland Police put out an alert for a missing man, police said he had been found safe.
“Jason James McGraw has been found safe and is being reunited with his family,” Ashland Police Officer Chip Watts wrote in an email. “We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the media for quickly broadcasting this information and posting on the internet as well as the assistance of the Henrico County Police Department and the public in the effort to assist us in locating Mr. McGraw.”
McGraw, 40, vanished over the weekend, Ashland Police reported earlier on Monday. He was last seen leaving his home at about 4 p.m. Saturday. Foul play was not suspected, but his family and officers were concerned for his well-being.
