RICHMOND, Va. --Police are investigating after a 37-year-old woman was shot Sunday afternoon in the city’s Gilpin Court neighborhood.
It happened just before 1:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of St. Paul Street.
Police said the victim, who was shot in the leg, was taken to VCU Medical Center with a non-life threatening injury.
Investigators have not yet released a description of the suspect.
