RICHMOND, Va. -- A 27-year-old man was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries after he was shot early Thursday morning in Richmond. Police officers responded to a random gunfire call around 1:40 a.m. along the 2400 block of Whitcomb Street in Richmond.
Police K9 units were brought out to search for a suspect. Police have not yet released information about a potential suspect in the shooting.
