HENRICO, Va. — Thursday afternoon the Henrico Fire Department worked a fire in the 100 block of Defense Ave, in the east end of Henrico, not far from Nine Mile Road.
Fire was coming through the front door and there is heavy smoke from the roof, Capt. Daniel Rosenbaum said.
The cause of the fire was determined to have been accidental in nature and caused by improperly discarded smoking materials, said Capt. Rosenbaum.
