RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)- Fire crews are investigating after a house fire in the city’s south-side left a woman and child displaced.
Fire crews responded around 11:39 a.m. Sunday morning for reports of a house fire in the 200 block of Larne Avenue.
When units arrived they found light smoke coming from the home.
The fire caused damage to the second floor and was quickly marked under control at 11:56 a.m.
No injuries have been reported.
The Red Cross has been contacted to help the residents.
Crews are still investigating the cause of the fire.
