CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WTVR) -- A driver and passenger could both be left paralyzed after a car accident in Chesterfield on Friday night.
The incident occurred around 11 p.m. in the 1100 block of Riverway Road.
Police say they believe the driver lost control while heading south down Riverway Road from Beach Road.
Officers said the male driver was found partially trapped behind the wheel of the car. The female passenger appeared to have been ejected during the accident.
The investigation is still ongoing as police try to determine a definite cause of the crash.
