SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) -- The Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office has released a composite sketch of the suspect who shot a Kelly Wood, a Fas Mart convenience store clerk, shot during a robbery last month.
Police responded to a robbery call 3:20 a.m. on Saturday, March 8 at the Fas Mart located on Brock Road.
Police say the suspect entered the store and was pretending to purchase something. When the clerk turned away, the suspect shot the clerk in the head twice and fled the scene with an undetermined amount of cash and merchandise.
Police say the suspect is described as a white male, between 25 and 40 years old. The suspect weighs between 200-230 pounds and has a red colored beard and goatee.
