COUNTY MEATH, Ireland — A priest shocked a couple during their wedding ceremony and brought some guests to their feet when he broke into song.
According to BBC.com, Father Ray Kelly used alternate lyrics put to Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” to apply to the bride and groom.
In a YouTube video posted by invitationlovejesus, the priest begins with, “We join together here today, to help two people on their way.”
The clip had been viewed more than 23 million times as of Monday.
