CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Chesterfield County Police have charged a 17-year-old male in relation to an assault that occurred on a Chesterfield County Public Schools bus Thursday morning.
The bus was traveling to the Chesterfield Technical Center, located at 10101 Courthouse Road, when the incident occurred Thursday.
Police said the suspect became angry with another juvenile male, displayed a folding knife and attempted to stab him. The victim, who is 16-years-old, was not injured.
The suspect was charged with misdemeanor assault and possession of a weapon on school property, police said.
