Officials told CBS 6 News that 54-year-old Dennis Bullock, of the 3200 block of 5th Ave., died of exposure to the cold. The manner of his death was classified as accidental.

Richmond Police Department spokesman Gene Lepley said in December that Bullock’s body was discovered by a passerby in a wooded area of Riverview Cemetery on S. Randolph St.

Officers did not find anything at the scene and that there were no apparent signs of foul play.

CBS 6 News reporter Mark Holmberg talked to Bullock's family shortly after his body was found.

Family members questioned how Bullock, who didn’t drive, could have made it all the way across town Christmas Eve in a wooded section of Riverview Cemetery, just upriver from Hollywood Cemetery.

A police source confirmed that Bullock was wearing only his boxer shorts –  his wallet, cell phone and house keys were missing.
