BROOKLYN, NY (WTVR) -- VCU pulled away from George Washington in the second half to win 74-55 and play in the conference title game.
The Rams will face St. Joseph Sunday at 1pm on CBS without reigning sixth man of the year Melvin Johnson, who injured his left knee early in the first half.
Treveon Graham scored a game high 22 points and Briante Weber added 16 for VCU.
With the victory, Shaka Smart tops the most wins by a VCU coach with 137.
CBS 6 Sports Director Lane Casadonte has been court side and tweeted, "I (Smart) haven't seen a coach yet who breaks a record that didn't do it without great players."
