COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. (WTVR)–Emergency crews had to rescue a man and his dog from a frozen creek.
Police said the man let his dog out and the dog wandered onto that frozen creek, and fell in.
When the man tried to rescue his dog with a ladder, investigators said he fell in, too.
Animal control officers and fire crews were able to rescue the man and his dog.
Everyone is expected to be okay, there were no life-threatening injuries.
