RICHMOND (WTVR) - Since the Collegiate Schools is K-12, teachers get to watch students grow up, literally before their eyes. That allows them to forge lifelong relationships and preserve memories of those who have passed through the halls.
Lauren Brown is a third grade teacher at Collegiate who used to teach kindergarten and had a certain future NFL quarterback in one of her classes. She spoke with us remembering Russell Wilson as a young boy, and about how one of her "punishments" might be helping him in his career now.
Brown and the rest of the Collegiate community will be following their favorite son all the way to next week's Super Bowl 48.
