The Virginia couple celebrated their seven-decades of marriage which produced three-daughters, six-grandchildren and now three-great-grandchildren.
We asked what is the secret to a long, happy marriage?
“He respects me and I respect him and we love each other,” Mildred said.
The couple still lives in the same Russell county neighborhood where they met all those years ago.
