HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) -- The manager of a Henrico County restaurant was arrested Monday for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage coworker.

Henrico police said 42-year-old Carlos Alberto Ojeda-Aquino sexually assaulted a 17-year-old male worker in his charge.

Those who knew the suspect told CBS 6 that he worked at Tropical Smoothie Cafe on Willow Lawn Dr.

Detectives said the victim was assaulted several times between August and December inside the restaurant in the 1600 block of Willow Lawn Dr.

The owner of the store told CBS 6's Chelsea Rarrick that they are fully cooperating with police in the investigation.

Two men who worked near the store said Ojeda-Aquino was personable, and are shocked by the arrest.

"Just the type of person to see how you're doing, talk a little bit about his day," said one man who did not want to be identified.

CBS 6 went to Ojeda-Aquino's home Tuesday afternoon, however no one was there. A neighbor said the 42-year-old was married, and had plans to move to Chicago later this month.

Ojeda-Aquino, of the 4800 block of Monument Avenue, was charged with with indecent liberties with a minor while in a custodial role and sexual object penetration.

The Henrico County Sheriff's Office said he is in jail with an immigration hold on him, which means he's subject to deportation. A bench trial is set for March 17.
