RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – CBS 6 Storm Team Meteorologist Mike Stone says a storm moving in from the south will keep things wet this morning into the first half of the afternoon. Rain will be moderate to heavy at times, with over 1" of rainfall possible.
Rain should taper from south to north mid to late afternoon, and many areas will dry out this evening. Highs will range from the mid/upper 40s northwest, to the upper 50s/lower 60s across extreme southeastern Virginia. [BLOG: Soaking rain Sunday should make this a record wet December]
Skies will continue to clear overnight with lows dropping back into the mid and upper 30s.
