RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR)- Was your vote chosen? The wait is over, the five cheetah cubs at the Metro Richmond Zoo have been named.
According to the Times Dispatch, the winning names are Chester (for Chesterfield), Richie (for Richmond), Rico (for Henrico), Hanna (for Hanover) and Amelia.
The set of names beat out several others by 901 votes.
Richie has a shaved area, that is 1 inch by 1 inch, on his left rear hip. Rico has the mark on his right rear hip.
Hanna’s mark is on her right front shoulder, and Amelia’s is on her left front shoulder.
Chester does not have a mark.
