CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Chesterfield Police are on the scene of an accident that happened Sunday afternoon.
Police received a call around 3:10 for an accident near Courthouse Road and Hull Street. They told us a vehicle hit a pole.
Dominion was called to the scene to repair a pole. The accident caused a power outage for 2,700 customers. As of 8 p.m., they are still working to restore power for 100 customers.
Jim Norvelle, a Dominion spokesperson, told CBS 6 that the intersection will be shut down for a few more hours. They expect to be done with repairs sometime between 9 and 11 p.m.
