RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Hundreds of homeless men, women and children were fed a hot meal and received clothes, blankets and toiletries during the
Have a Heart for the Homeless event held at the Paradise Lounge in Richmond on Christmas Eve.

“It means Christmas, it means family, it means hope, it means that you know they feel like they’re not forgotten and that’s what we want them to do. We want them to feel like they’re not forgotten,” event organizer Janese Estep said about the gathering.

This was the fifth year for this event.
