PETERSBURG, Va. (WTVR)--A shooting around 6:30 p.m. Monday night has left two victims injured.
Esther Hyatt with the Petersburg Police Department said that one victim was med-flighted to VCU Medical. She had no update on the condition of the second victim.
Sources tell CBS 6 that both victims are in critical condition.
A family member of the victim that was med-flighted said that he believes there were two separate crime scenes. He said that one victim was shot multiple times, but police have not confirmed this information.
The police are developing suspect descriptions and the crime is still under investigation. The shooting was in the zero-hundred block of Cherry Street in Petersburg.
