ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) — A missing 75-year-old woman was found dead in Charlottesville Sunday. Virginia State Police issued a senior alert for Evelyn Mae Turner, who suffered from a cognitive impairment, on Saturday.
The Albemarle County Police Department said Turner was found dead Sunday in a wooded area at the end of Tennis Drive, which is in the Four Season community.
That’s not far from where she was last seen walking into the West Park Market on Four Season Drive on Saturday.
Officials said there is no indication of foul play.
Over 15 agencies across Virginia were involved in the search for Turner.
