Police investigate robbery near campus ATM

ETTRICK, Va. (WTVR) – Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened near the Virginia State University campus.

Three people were robbed at gunpoint at the ATM near the VSU Federal Credit Union, according to Chesterfield Police.  The robbery happened around 10:50 Sunday night in the 3400 block of Boisseau St.  No one was hurt.  A small amount of cash and other items were taken.

Police describe the suspect as a black male with a medium complexion between 18 to 25 years of age.  The suspect is about five feet and seven inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds and was wearing a bright orange hoodie with grey and blue pants.
