HENRICO, Va. (WTVR) -- Around 6 p.m., Henrico Fire Engine Company 8 responded to a call of a residential structure fire. While on the way to the scene, the fire truck was involved in an accident with another automobile.
The accident took place at the intersection of Patterson and Pepper Avenue.
Drivers of both vehicles were taken to area hospitals with minor, non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation and no charges have been filed yet. Charges are still pending for the driver of the vehicle.
