RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - A car drove off the Mayo Bridge and into the James River around 3 a.m. Thursday. When Richmond Police arrived on scene, they said the car was on its side, partially submerged in water.
Police said they have not yet found the driver. It appears the driver fled the scene.
Crews spent about an hour and a half to get the car out of the water.
