Suspects sought in credit card thefts

HANOVER, Va. –Investigators have images of two suspects that they say are working in tandem to steal credit cards and rack up charges.

Credit card theft suspect number one.

The Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s assistance with identifying the two females, who are believed to be driving a full-sized SUV.  Officers say the credit card theft has resulted in several thousands of dollars in losses.

The thefts occurred on August 21, while the victims were shopping at separate retail locations. In the first incident, one of the suspects distracted the victim while the other stole her wallet from her purse. During the second incident, the suspects stole the victim’s wallet from her unlocked vehicle.

Credit card theft suspect number two.

The suspects then immediately used the stolen cards at local retailers in the Hanover and Henrico, where they purchased electronics and gift cards.
