PRINCE GEORGE, Va. (WTVR) -- A victim has been rushed to the hospital after a wreck snarled traffic on I-95 south in Prince George Wednesday night.

All lanes of I-95 south were shutdown just before the Wagner Road exit at mile marker 49 around 9:20 p.m.

Virginia State Police said the lanes were closed so a MedFlight helicopter could transport a seriously injured patient to the hospital.

Officials said the victim had non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.

The interstate reopened around 9:45 p.m.
