Police investigate Short Pump armed robbery

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Henrico police are asking for the public’s help finding a suspect after an armed robbery in Short Pump mall Friday morning.

As the victim was exiting his car, police said he was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of the Reflections of West Creek apartment complex.

The victim described the suspect as a black man with a dark bandana pulled over the lower portion of his face. The robber had a pistol, police said.

The suspect told the victim to get back into the car and drive to a bank, police said. When the man got money from the bank, the robber told the victim to drive back to the apartment complex. The robber bailed out of the car somewhere in the apartment complex, police said.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 29 years old, between 5 foot 8 and 5 foot 10, weighing between 165 and 175 pounds, with short hair and a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a grey shirt and dark bandana.
