LUNENBURG COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) -- The vehicle belonging to a missing Kenbridge woman, who has been missing since late June, was discovered Sunday.
A little after 12:00 p.m. the Lunenburg County Sheriff's Office was notified of an Oldsmobile Alero in the 900 block of Egg Drive.
The car was between 100 and 200 yards in the woods from the road and was found by a man using a bush hog in an adjacent path.
Law enforcement immediately dispatched a tracking K-9 to the scene to search the area for the car's driver, Virginia Edmonds.
The 73-year-old has been missing since June 28, 2013 and was last seen wearing a black members only jacket and black shoes.
She has black eyes and short brown hair. She weighs about 120 pounds and is five foot five inches tall.
At this stage police believe foul play is not suspected in her disappearance.
