NEW YORK CITY (WPIX) – A ferry attempting to dock at Liberty Island made a hard landing Tuesday afternoon, leaving nine passengers with minor injuries, according to police sources.
The ferry, “Miss New Jersey”, was unable to stop before colliding with the dock after traveling from Jersey City to Ellis Island.
All the injured passengers refused medical attention at the scene.
The cause of the accident is not yet known.
