CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR)–The state fair doesn’t start until next month, but the Chesterfield Fair kicks off this Friday, August 23 and run through the 31st.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the event and the organizers promise you will notice the man ways they have expanded.
The entertainment and exhibit line-up will include a bull riding competition, Bengal tiger showcase (including LIGERS), pro-wrestling, karaoke contest and much more.

In addition there will be the classic favorites like fried food, rides and concerts.
Tickets are $10 apiece, with discounts offered for the youth and senior citizens. Tickets can even be purchased in advance, online.
